Ravine Ecological Preserve

The Ravine Ecological Preserve consists of 1.7 mile (2.8km) hiking trail that works its way through grasslands, aquatic and aspect parkland habitat. Dedicated volunteers help preserve the natural integrity of the site.

 Through aspen forest, song birds, mammals, amphibians and reptiles make thier home. Plants such as Saskatoon, Chokecherry, Hazelnut, Twinning Honeysuckle and Wood Rose all present themselves to the hiker along the trail. Ornamental trees are throughout for the hikers delight.

Interpretive signage about the Dulmage Farmstead, a municiple heritage site is along the trail. Remnants of buildings remain on site.

Take one hour out of your day and stroll along our boardwalk. Bring your camera and enjoy the sites, its important to leave nothing but your footprint.
