Curling

The Yorkton Curling Club plays at the Gallagher Centre from October through March. Most of its league play and bonspiels take place in the curling rink, where curlers have eight sheets of ice, a pro shop, change rooms, viewing areas and a lounge overlooking the rink.

However, to provide more spectator and media space, major special events, including the Painted Hand Casino World Curling tour in November, are held in the arena (see photo).
